im confused on how2 even type in a cheat

i tried to type in a code 4 money but im stuck.
this is wat i did:
ctrl shift c
and then i typed in motherboard
i pushed enter and then kept typing motherboard , enter, motherboard,enter, etc.....
i think ive typed motherboard enough 4 some good money
how do i actually accept the cheat (or close that box)????????????
