Get a Ditto from LeafGreen or FireRed.

u can also find a ditto in the cave the fossil maniac made. u can go there after u defeat the elite four.now leave the ditto and any pokemon u want at the day care. wait a while, and youll get an egg. this is good if u want 2 of your starter pokemon.
