If your tallking about ff1 i dont know. If your tallking about ff2 you dont upgrade.

silver you have to get the rats tail and talk to the dragon in ff1.

i beated ff1 and ff2( not soul of rebirth ) so aks me enithing if you need help.

In ff1 talk to dragonking after getting rats tail.

FF2= You dont upgrade, Your stats are split into seperate categories and you level up weapons, stamina, luck... Ect.
