I too was having this same problem. Installed the patch, didnt work.

try this if you have installed the patch and are still stuck:

hit the ~ command to bring up the command window and type this exactly: ai_norebuildgraph "0"



then hit enter.


next reload the saved game that is BEFORE the redeck scene.

when you get to the same scene again with Redeck talking, you'll know if it worked when he tells his guards to go get the sub ready, they exit via a ramp in redecks room. After his speech Redeck will then leave, and his door will open.

P.S. after getting past that scene, if you see an error message a few minutes later saying "A.I. Disabled" not to worry. just exit the game and relaunch and you'll be fine.

too bad i cant bring up the console...i have tried to change the key in the config.cfg file but it does not work then either pls help

hmmmm Every game user should be able to bring it up. and just to make sure you were press the tilda ~ key, located directly below the esc key?

I have tried it 1000 times...does not work

I have the same problem... f#%"#! and it seems that they have been able to remove the ~ - button. Because when I test all the buttons in the options menu the ~ button does not come up.

i have that problem to and i dont have the ~ button i have instead the § button is there any way to change that?

I got the to work...just write -console in a shortcut to the exe file. works for me
