whenever i get on a lot my people don't move, they just stand in front on the house completely immobile. i downloaded a patch on the sims2 website and it still won't work... someone please help me

is your computer up to date? how much time did you wait for the people to move? can you do other things but your people arent moving or does the entire game freeze?
