yahh, so i "acsadintly killed a mage while a member of the guild(and saved) and now i have to get into the arcane universty for the main quest(and another side quest) but i cant get through the gates

so does any one know how to get into the universty without a key or at least know how to get 16 vampire dusts and 18 deadra hearts at lvl 19 quickly?

You have to do all of the mages guild recomendation quests to gainn admision into the Arcan University

for vampire dusts.. keep visiting the forts/caves infested with vampires. to name a few,
1) the cave where hindaril was hiding in cure vampire quest.
2) the cave u have to visit for virtuous brotherhood quest
3) the mine for azura shrine quest.
sorry dont exactly remember the location on top of my head.

since u r level 19, i would recommend levelling up to 20, take up the boethia shrine quest, complete it, get the goldbrand sword and then take on the vampires. gold brand packs a firey punch and can bring down even the most powerful vampires in 2-4 well placed swings. for boethia u need to offer 1 daedra heart, which u can easily find by killing a daedra near oblivion gates. boethia is south-southeast of chedinal in the vallus mountains. on the straight line going east along the arcane university.

more daedra hearts can be found by killing the any of the daedra species.. xivilai, daedra spider, daedroth etc. these are available in plenty in the oblivion.

you dont have to actually go inside the gates of the arcane university. theres a guy in the main hall thing (the one room you can go into). if hes not there when you first arrive, just wait there untill he shows. then hell give you the quest, i think you have to harvest some kind of flower.
