Doing quests for Guild of Fighters, Mages guild, Dark Brotherhood, almost every quest will get you some gold. The most money you will get playing for Thieves guild, having the invisibility or chamelon spell. Steal, sell for gold, recive gold for quests, and your quest is stealing. Working your way to the top rank of the guild will get you regular income in some guilds. Arena is also a good way. there is also the betting if you like the risk.
If you are going to be a thief, get the Skeleton Key from that one quest first (requires level 10 to start) its an unbreakable lock pick that adds 40 to security skill so u can just like click auto attempt until it opens it ruins lockpicking lol and that is a really really really long runon sentence lol ok im gonna stop typing now honestly i seriously will ok im quitting just a sec ok bybye im gone wait i forgot i pwn and melee pwns and i pickpocketed that one blade guard and stole 3gold lol he got ticked and he attacked me so i like killed him bwahahhahahaaha im soevil btw try pickpocketing the guards in the imperial city for a guard tower key then u can go into the guard tower btw i better stop before i get flamed

If you're short on cash then you showld buy a house in the imperal city. It costs 2000 gp and around 7500 to furnish it.
