When I follow, exactly, Nintendo's over the phone hint on how to get the Space Jump Boots it doesn't

HAVE YOU GOTTEN THE BOOST BALL YET IF SO THE MAP SHOULD PRETTY MUCH TELL YOU EXACTLY WHERE TO GO! . IF NOT THEN YOU NEED TO GET THE BOOST BALL IM PRETTY SURE ITS IN PHENDRANA DRIFTS
