i think you should be able to pick maps from the gta series and from all over the world.

If it was online, they should use all the maps and make them like islands. then u could use boats or planes to travel to any of them and cause complete havoc.

But if they put it online, i dont think cheats would be fair.
Everyone would make themself invincible and then u couldnt have a proper fight. i mean if someone was invincible you could do head shots with a shotgun or bazooka for hours and nothing would happen.

But here's an idea, in the game Marcus has his house he can always go back to. Idea: in an on-line version, should people be able to get there own house- a base to go back to.
If u used all GTA maps there could b thousands/millions of on-line people with there own house/base to go back to.

Whats people's opinions ??

yea, and if they do, there will prolly have 50 players online at the same time on same map!! but u cant have cheats online

i'd fly around in jet and shoot other down, i'd start gang wars and u can make ur own gang for others to join..

if they did make it online, it would be the BEST game out on the market, yes even better than the halo games... or maybe im juss exaggerating

I tell you wot i think;
You can go any where around the world, start your owngang, online, real life disaters/natural dangers, not just humans (eg: have animals ufo sigtings and stuff. oh yeah and have a camera hooked up to it, so you can take picture and iport it to the game when you creat a chararcter, and finaly, more gore. i bet u thinkk im but thats wot i think

yes Gta4 should be online
but unfortunatly the amount of people who cheat on it will ruin it...
but however if they somehow manage to dissable it in online play then yes it will be a excellent online game!

most online games have a cheat blocker

gta would be good online, with gangs and gang roles with create-your-own uniforms and territory.

Has No one Heard of SAMP )San Andreas Muliplayer? Search it lol it may only be for comp but still you can get online play and Rockstar have put multiplayer into Vice City stories on PSP so therefor I can assume they will put Multiplayer into GTA 4. AND YEA IT WOULD BE SO AWSOME if you could have up to 100 players as well as AIs hanging around SA. WOW imagine Clan Wars with inocent bi standers being murdered killing a random guy by slicing him with helicopter blades HYDRA FIGTS!!! KICK ASS STREET RACES. lol my perfect sinario is where you are on a flat bed truck on a train with all your m8s then another train come along side you with some other clan people on it Carnage lol Launching every thing at each other then running like hell! WOW!

GTA4 is multiplayer. you can go around the whole map with up to 16 other players and do different game modes like Cops n Robbers or just free roam.. the host has the option of whether cheats can be used and time limits etc. if you want to know more just search it up on wikipedia or something...
