Pokemon Silver/Gold Message Board  

Ok, well I've read all the guides/tips/hints to beating the tree thing near Goldenrod city, but I don't get it. I've beaten the gym leader there, and the two ones before Whitney, too (obviously.) After that, I randomly talked to the people around town (including the Flower Shop ladies...) When I discovered, thanks to this site, that you needed to get the squirt bottle from the flower girl, I went back, but she just said something like "lalalala, lalala, have plenty of water" to her flowers.. (I can't remember what she told me, the first time around, however.) I wondered if I might have the bottle, already, in my pack, since I had already talked to the flower shop girls, but I didn't find it (and, yes, I looked through everything in every section of my pack.)
Am I doing something for the Silver game (I have Gold, by the way), or something? Because I'm stumped.

Any tips or pointers would be EXTREMELY helpful, seeing as how I'm really stuck here..

Are this is your first time playing Pokemon?? OK I help you. Maybe you didn't get the Plain Badge from Leader Whitney?? You must talk to her after you beating her. Then talk to the girl at the flower shop/walk to the tree that wiggling. Then its over meh. XD

yea man Whitney doesn't give toy the badge when you beat her you have to back and ask het again she will then gave you the badge then you can go to the flower laddies and get the squirt bottle

gamex, no it isn't, really.. I play Pokémon Yellow, too, but a little more rarely because I've kind of beaten the game lots of times, lol.
About the Plain Badge, well.. I beat Whitney. That's the thing that's got me confused. Let me check my badges 'n stuff..



UGH. God, ok, I went to check -again- in Whitney's gym (for.. like, the tenth time) and she finally gave me the damn badge. xD I guess I was more newbish than I had though, lmao. It was really easy after all. Thank you so much, guys, even though it was just a silly fit on my behalf, that caused it. ^^;

What's sort of odd is that I spoke with Whitney LOTS of times, after I beat her, and she only just gave me the badge, now. Weird... But, anyhow, I got the bottle now and I'll be moving on. Thanks a ton, guys, again!!

Hmmm. lol. Since you beat Whitney did you notice that the girl under Whitney say something when you beat Whitney??

....and if you noticed that, go in a building above the gym and u will find that girl again. talk to the other lady then she will give u the squirtbottle
