I just started playing pokemon Sapphire, and I chose Torchick (wrong spelling?).

I was wondering the opinions of the other people out there so what is it?

Please include the pokemon and why you think it is best. Thanks! 💛

I go for Torchic. They all suck but he looks the coolest

Tochic for PKM League
Treeko for Team Aqua(or)Magma
Mudkip for Gyms

i myself always pick two pokemon for Sapphire.....Torchic and Crobat

I picked Treecko because he was the one to me that looked the coolest. But any of those 3 pokemon could beat the pokemon league because on my Pokemon Silver, I beat the Elite Four with Meganium. So any of those 3 would be good but you have to train them.

I think Treeco is the best hands down. I always end up raising another pokemon more then my starter though. My two farovite pokemon in this one is Skitty and Swellow. If I had to choose which one I like more it would most likly be Skitty.

If you say Treecko is the best hands down, then why did I win the Elite Four with 2 pokemon and one of them was Sceptile? I lost all of my weak pokemon so I could save my strong ones for later and the 2 strong ones were Kyogre and Sceptile! The only reason my Kyogre is stronger than Sceptile is because some of the pokemon were strong against grass types and I couldn't use Sceptile. Try to beat that!
