    Its because GTA3, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas were all connected to each other, Indept storyline wise.

    yeah but liberty city stories takes place after gta 3... so will vice city stories. So i wonder if in gta4 if you go to all places?

    liberty city stories actually takes place before GTA3



    Because the old man you work for in GTA liberty city stories, you kill him in GTA 3(Mafia Boss, I can't remember his his name, I think its Savatore Leonne)

    ah but what you are forgetting is GTA1 and 2 on the ps1,as well as the london expansion packs
