I got the first freeze money trainer to work, but the 2 newest ones won't. I tried them before and after the game update. What version of the game are they for? Has anybody gotten them to work?

Trainers usually stop working when you update. This is because they are seperate programs that rely on specific addresses within the "programming" to stay the same (and thus altering them to our advantage.)

When you update - things tend to change, and the trainer gets confused, and stop working.


This is normal.

I have not yet updated mine, and pizza works just perfectly.

Trainers work before the update.

I have a problem with trainer that gives unlimited room for applying stuff on your ship, It works allright, but my ship stats don't increase(when I apply a weapon, shield, armor). Does anyone have that problem?any solutions? Thanks for help!

Insade of a folder: gamedir\Data\English, you will find GC2Types.xml.
to edit this file use a notepad.
Use shortcut ctrl+h (Find And Replace)

I recomend, that you make a backup. This mod will not work with a savegame. You will ned to start a new game.

Search for a keyword hull, and for their size increase to the nuber you want ( I recomend by factor of 20)

I haven't notice that AI will also use custom design

but when you go to a new game and chose difrent race, the computer probably will use your custom saved design. (Not Confirmed)

Hey, does anyone know how the original cheats work? the one where you add the word "cheat" infront of the shortcut target path to open the game?? I've gone to almost all the cheats websites on the internet and they all say the same thing. But when i do it to mine it doesnt work.

Could the problem be that my path target is written like so?:

"C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2Demo\GC2Launch.exe"

All i do is add the word cheat to the end of it. It still doesnt work. Can anyone help me??

First it must point to GalCiv2.exe, not to GC2Launch.exe
Second. I don't know if the cheats will work with a demo version.
