I bought my 360 exactly a week ago, so its basically new. I've only played 2 games on it, need for speed carbon and Halo 2. Need for speed it froze on me like twice, but halo 2 froze on me evertime I tried, which is around 10. I tried two different Halo 2 games, and they both do the same thing, although my friends halo 2 game I was able to sign on and download the extra maps. But after I was done downloading it froze again, and again. Does the 360 come with a warranty? Because when I bought it at Best Buy, they asked if i wanted to buy one for like 50 dollars, and I refused because I didn't have enough money...

Ouch...yeah, the problem most likely lies with the 360 itself.
Your problems seem very familiar.
See if you stil can't get a warrenty...but if you bought it a week ago, you can still return it.
So return it, buy a new one and get a warrenty with it.
Oh, and how dumb it may seem, I recommend to get the Core system, especially if you plan to play XBL...I have experienced many players just standing around only later to figure out that they were changing their controllers batteries.
Either that or get the Fully Loaded and an extra wired controller.
