Ratchet: Deadlocked Message Board  

Yo dudes and dudettes!
In this thread I would like you all to think up a weapon for Ratchet: Gladiator/Deadlocked, or what kind of weapon you would like to see in Ratchet 5 (if that is coming)
Or maybe which kind of weapon from previous games you missed in this game!

I missed the Morph-O-Ray/Quack-O-Ray/Sheepinator weapons in this game.
I also think it's sad that they gave the Scorpion/Leviathan Flail ammo, because, honestly... it's a MELEE WEAPON!
They made the same 'mistake' here as they did with the Plasma whip in R&C3..

Why did they change the name of the ultimate weapon (the RYNO, RYNO2, RYNOCERATOR (RY3NO v10)) to the harbringer. The RYNO has been in every Ratchet & Clank Game Except this one. Because of that I lost $10 to my friend in a bet that A RYNO will be in Ratcheteadlocked. They Ruined the trandition of The RYNO. Ratcheteadlocked was not the same without it. Atleast the Harbringer looks cool and it can be upgraded to v99 and hve a power of almost 20,000. Which is actually stronger than the RYNO but still its not the same as it used to be.

I agree. Why did Insomniac change the name into "the Harbinger"? It kinda has the fysique of the RYNO from R&C1, but upgraded it had much more destructive power.(I do like that about the harbinger)
they made a FPS with Ratchet, but they "destroyed" more than 1 tradition with Deadlocked.
They removed the leading element that made the first 3 games, Platform and puzzling. this game is a bit of a crossover between R&C and Doom or Unreal or something.
they also removed Clank from Ratchet's back, witch kind of restricts your movement. and last but not least, they KILLED THE TRADITION OF THE RYNO!!
let's hope they'll learn from this and put a newer version of the RYNO in R&C 5.
I did like the Alpha and Omega Mod system in Deadlocked, it gives you a lot of freedom to customize your arsenal, unlike the previous games. I do hope they'll keep that for the next games. now we just have to wait what the Insomniacs have in store for us regarding the following games, and if they can up the tradition of delivering another R&C game in a year ^^

Ive got it, it can be called the R.Y.N.O. Omega!

There are too many Omegas and Alphas in the game they should call it something other than Alpha or Omega, something like, Delta or Beta.

I agree, somehow everybody likes to add Alpha and Omega in names of weapons or something. Maybe they'll substitute the names for Greek letters we don't know yet, like Nu, or Lambda, or Sigma, or Epsylon (that's about all greek letters I know :P )
I just started playing it again, after finishing the first 3 parts. somehow it does have a R&C feel to it.
I just remembered, last one of my friends asked me if Ratchet:Gladiator was the 5th parts in the series. I said: No, it's the name of the Europian Version, the Americans have Deadlocked, and we have Gladiator.

my fav weapon is either the Mega Silencer v.99 or the Mega Anti-matter Rifle v.99
