Help! I think I might have to restart and lose everything. Nooks Cranny posted a note on the 22nd saying that it was going to be closed all day on the 23rd January for an upgrade. I did some time travel experimentally, and the shop ended up not upgrading. I have now spend loads and sold loads in the cranny - I have my membership and all that - but it is still just the basic tiny shop and never improved. I try to time travel back to the 22nd when it closes and the 23rd when it opens, but it just opens normally on the 23rd. So I think I have broken Nooks upgrade. Does anyone know if there is a way to make it work again.

haha sorry dude don't restart your game, all you did is time travled in the past, things like upgrading stores and your own house will go back to normal and not be upgraded, and that is no problem because you just have to go the day after nook closed his shop for remodeling, and he will be upgraded, after that you can go to the past cuz its permanent after he upgrades. (same with your house)

IF anything else you can save items by giving them to a friend until you are started back up Sry you can't keep your Museum items.
