Ok I played and beat KH. But recently my friend has just informed me that KH2 is actually a sequel of Chain of Memories. I havent played COM but I am hoping that KH2 is really a sequel of the actual KH instead of COM. Anyone hear anything?

chain of memories is just to inform you the basics and
about kh2 i think. but (i havn't seen it)the ending to kh2( i just saw like two pics of it) looks a lot differant from COM. so i don't know.
on possibility is that you havn't completly killed the peopole you defeated in COM, you just defeated their replicas(or whatever) and then you fight them again
or you just continue from where kh left off... but my friend says taht his buddy told him kh2 starts off with sora waking up from a dream???
People deserve to get the full expieriance of their games!!!

okay, here's what it really is, kingdom hearts chain of memories picks up exactly where kingdom hearts leaves off, and it connects 1 and 2. So in a way, KH2 is a sequel of COM, In is sora, donald and goofy find castle oblivion, and they are looking for the king and riku, through out the castly sora and going through his memories, fighting the bosses that he had in the first blah, and as he goes further in the castler he loses his memories. the king and riku are in the castle but they dont know it for sure, they are just on the opposite side. and in the end, Sora finds a room with namine in it and she puts him to sleep. She is also the one who took apart his memories. And then KH2 picks up at the end of COM. so there ya have it. this is kinda late.... but i just wanted to clear that up.

i like to think that Chain of Memories is like a kh 1 1/2
