while i was searchin for Pokemon Emerald cheats i came across tis.they say u can catch tis rare virus at route 117 and it helps to train u pokemon better!im tryin to get tis virus but izzit true?

the virus oso last for 2 days and can spread quickly!

yea its called pokerus and it doesnt last long but if u keep the infected pokemon in ur PC it wont go away!

i got the virus and i put some of my pokemon in pc and the virus didnt dissapear

It was introduced in G/S/C. It's extraordinarily rare, and to my knowledge, there is no definite place to get it. As far as i know, the chances of getting a pokekmon with the Pokerus is equal to the chances of finding a shiny pokemon in the wild - 1 in 1812.

I've found that the best way to actually get the Pokevirus is to catch a shiny Pokemon. The virus tends to be drawn to them somehow. Heck, most of the shinies I've caught have had it. (Not just using cheats either.) Well they still do since I put them in the PC. And battling with a Pokemon that has the virus will spread it to the other pokemon in your party.
