why did i and jane trap in a metal box? and suddenly the game end up?

Right before the box traps you, you have to back up very quickly.
There's an arrow at the top of the screen right before it traps you that lets you back up.
Once Jane is trapped, go to the wind puzzle and move him to the box. That's the end of the game.

I'm not sure about not being able to check that off the tasklist. It may be a glitch in the game.
When you are in the great hall, there's a wall that has six coat of arms on it. If you look at the left and right corners of them, there are marks that tell which prongs you push.

WTFF??
Im playing as Bess to get those guys in the skeleton suits to open the doors.
I knwo the password is Scuttles Bones. But it's not a choice for Bess. I keep calling Nancy and she keeps saying the same thing. What in the world am I doing wrongg?
