I will agree that games should be challenging to a point-or else whats the point of spending 50, 60 or 70 bucks on a game. But seeing as this is a new console, and they are bringing in new players, you would think the option would be there to play on an "easy" level. Personally, I am all about a good challenge, but I never really played the previous DOA games, so at first I was getting my ass kicked and just very frustrated in the process. I was just asking if anyone else shared my opinion that not having an easy option slightly takes away from the game.

are all of spartan's other costumes just different colors? if so i won't even bother going after his 5 other costumes.

yes they are. but if you want to unlock the "all costumes" points, then go for them..its worth a bunch of points. i will admit that its a pain with him though since he sucks.

oh ok thank you. and I agree he does suck, I was kinda disapointed once I got him. His only moves that are cool and from halo 2 have to be the plasma grenade and the invisibility, and some fancy move called the pillar of autumn. I will probaly go for the all costumes thing once i get that one dude from time attack.

if your going for all the costumes good luck also. you can find out how many each have at cheatcc.com or xbox360chets.com. and you don't need to unlock all the characters to get it either. i am still going through with all the characters on time attack so i can unlock the last character. and if you try and unlock all the voices too so you can get the last stage unlocked....good luck. some of those throw combos are INSANE.

And how did that french dude beat the game in 3 minutes!!

After many times playing this game a lot online and offline, and improving my skills to the best of my ability so far, i have managed 4 minutes in time attack, using spartan i might add too, i got 4 with Kasumi aswell.

Some usefull tips would be to be cheap when fighting Alpha, she is a cheap fighter too, so continueously do attacks like forward forward kick(B). This game doesn't seem hard at all anymore, just keep practicing you will get it.

unfortunatly, i don't have the time anymore to just sit and zone out for hours on end like i am sure you do..i miss those days. but i will also admit that the more i played the better i got. my personal best was a little over 5 minutes and at the time i was 5000 or so out of 33000, so i was happy. since i have moved on to Call of Duty 2-i unlocked everything except the last stage for DOA4. as far as COD2..its intense and i love it. can't wait for Battlefield 2 to come out.

you need to unlock all the costumes to unnlock alpha. spartan is easy on alpha if u hang back from alpha and use the power attacks on her when she teleports close, like the flying kicks/punchs or the moves that take a while to charge up.
