Agh I'm going crazy here because I cant install Wi Fi!
Please help out I'd really appreciate it.

Well I have wireless internet in my house, so I just went to "Wifi mode" where you can select wifi, new game, or continue, and it connected for me.

Well if you get a router then you have wifi connection, all you need is a router.

What is Wi Fi? I hear everyone talking about it, but I am going mad because I have no clue what they are talking about!!!

Wi Fi (Wireless Fi)...is a system installed in some DS games which allows you to play with people all over the world.

But you have to install it by finding a Hot Spot.

cofee shops (starbucks) have hotspots so do some other places like air ports and such.
