i have these little lights swirling around me. i'm in the arena, and i jsut got them. at first i thought i'd cast a spell wrong, but they're not going away. i have good alignment, is this the beginnings of a halo?

yes indeed it does mean that
when your alignment shifts good, light will shine down on you (little light things fly around your head and body) and you will get a halo, and blue markings will apear on your skin if your older and are good.

lol that's awesome, my good guy never turned blonde, probaly because he came good at age 60 something, his hair is just bright white.

i've never managed to get significantly evil. there's so much of the main quest that gives you good alignment.
