does anyone know where you can get a deed to own a house?

If you Become a Grandmaster of the one of the Great Houses. If you own the game of the year edition go to Solstheim, then go to Ravens rock and do the East Empire Company missions. You could always just find a house you like and kill whomever is in it. Make sure there are no guards in it, they respawn.

ok thanks. i had just heard my friend talking about finding a deed on a body so i thought u could legally own a house

When you play the Grand House missions you have to get a deed. Also when you play the east empire missions at raven rock you legally own a home.

Also when u get far enough in bloodmoon main quest they will call you blodskaal, friend of the skaal, then later they will give u a house with your name and everything on it (blodskaal is the name on door)

I just have a question,
I whent to vivic one day just messing around exploring the world and went into one of the rooms that holds the docuements or something I cant reamember its been a while sence ive played but it has just one spell user in it and allot of books but one thing I noticed was that there were like two or three deeds I think they were in a small chest not sure what they go to or how they might benifit me,can anyone tell me what there for and what happens if i take then, I meen douse it meen that I can own some property or doese it have something to do with one of the missions? 🤔

The deed's are for missions but I can't remember witch ones.

i think it is a house hialu(whatever?)mission.
