I told you...

Anywho, some mods haven't done their duties lately (modding or posting), why are they still mods?

I have to tell you, you're walking a thin line here.

Mods are not paid employees. They do this on their own time and because they care about the website. They take vacations and time off whenever they want to. We have several mods here at the site that will fill in while others aren't around for whatever reason.

_Rafael_, you are more than welcome to create your own website and make your own rules where mods have to post everyday and report for work everyday or else get booted and make up your own rules about rank images and statuses, but on this website, let's leave all that up to me and Nevermore.

I don't say daily, nor weekly... I know they aren't paid too, and that they do it because they want to, but when they accepted to become mods, they got some responsabilities... it's like when a friend promises he comes by your home, you don't pay him to do it, but you expect him to ring your door-bell.
I realize that they have lives, wife/husband, maybe kids, and need brakes/go on holiday, and I don't want them to work in their spare time.
Maybe you understood me wrong, I don't like to criticise, and I don't want you to de-mod the actual moderators... Most do an excelent job (lets not give names... but eveybody knows who I'm talkin about). I just wanted you to notice this issue. I don't say they have to work daily, as some slaves, but there were some who weren't seen for like 3-4 months... not an actual action in 3 months... eventually, that problem was fixed, but I want to make sure it won't happen again. I know that it's hard to become a mod here, but power can make people lazy... We wouldn't want that, do we?
Ok, the question was rather weird posted by myself (it seemed as if I wanted de-moding in that moment...). As an ending, you might ask 'What does this guy really want?!'. I just want to make sure you will keep an eye on the moderators` actions.
