Right, well if you save during a quest then it will reload it to the begining of the quest [i found this a real sod when doing the escape from bowerstone prison with your mother...she kept dying.]

So in the area, if you save at any point then if you reload, it will start anew from the point you arrived at the arena gates.

Also, it is impossible to port out of the area during rounds, although i believe it is possible to port out during the breaks [if you need any, which being a very strong melee character i didn't.] I am not sure if this affects where on the quest you come back too, if i were you i would just play it safe, save up some cash and just buck your way through the game.

NB: Having completed the game, i did it again with a trainer, and i found that on the last round of the arena facing whisper and at other points with bosses [happens rarely but can happen] the trainer can cause the bosses to become invincible, and therefore impossible to beat. The only solution to this is to restart the whole quest again without infinite health on, and then face them. If thats a problem because of low exp etc, i suggest tacking on the infinite exp button and getting some new skills [but only if you want to play the game the cheator way ]

Well it all depends what sort of person you want to be, if you want to be an evil git, then sure go ahead and sacrifice your sister.

    however...

if you want to be a good guy [and the allignment boost you get from this quest is massive, so if you don't have loads of cash or people to sacrifice to the gods Avo or Skorm, then make sure you pick the right one.] Then throw it into the vortex, now you make think that is a great weapon lobbed away, but it isn't. You get a really easy side quest whereby you can get an indentical sword called 'Avo's Tear' which is basicly the good version of the same weapon.

So decide what sort of person you want to be.

Oh, and the game isn't finished after that =oP there is a whole new part to go ^^

If you are looking for a great walkthrough that takes an easier approach to the game, then i would suggest either the downloadable one here...or www.gamebanshee.com >> its a great walkthrough, and gives percise details!

Yeh, but on relfection, i find single player RPGs more fun. It brings the game down to a more personal level.

I found that the "ultimate weapons" are weak, go to the Bowerstone North store and buy the Solus Greatsword, it is so much stronger than the final weapons by over 50. I'm not sure if the augs in the final weapons are any better though.

The augmentations in the final weapons are what makes the difference since the constantly replinish health & mana & give you experience, but at this point the experience boost really isn't that important & you can get the other augmentations & put into a crossbow; make it your active ranged weapon & have the same affect.
As for the Arena, you can "Hero save" between rounds & when you reload from those saves you will have all your goodies & experience earned up to that point. So a real nice cheat to make fast gains & a powerful character is to buy what you want in the arena shop, fight your first 6 rounds, then Hero save before Arachanox, & reload. You'll restart the Arena quest from the beginning with all goodies & experience & you can repeat as many times as you wish until you become All-powerful. (But it kinda takes away from the fun if you can't lose.)
