    is this good?
    thunder punch
    flame thrower
    swift
    ice punch

oh yeah, for my lugia shud i take offany moves and add some?

lugia: i might do psychic over surf or shadow ball. or maybe psychic and safegaurd over surf AND shadow ball. i might do the second one because your team needs a more blanced pkmn.
uh.... typhlosion can't learn ice punch.... erase it and swift for earthquake and curse.

uhh... this isnt exactly a team rating topic but w/e

solid team individually, but lacks support. each pokemon cant really support others and there all kinda attacker ppl. also, too many ancient powers and earthquakes. keep earthquake on ho-oh and tyranitar, and ap on tyranitar only. then go teach lugia surf. dragonite can have more powerrful attacks. also, teach machamp unusual moves over vital throw and earthquake. like thunderpunch and fireblast.

blah. those were pretty bad comments. i could do better. o well.

new tip: use as many vitamins on your pokemon as u possibly can. just do so rite at the begining (ideally lvl 5). also try to start up your team with pokemon hatched from an egg. they usually have better stats and if you breed rite, they start off with some heavy hitting moves.

you say too many attacking pokemon, but i say whats wrong with attacking pokemon? you dont win battles by defending.

    sure you do.

but by defending i mean like confuse ray, safegaurd, mist, haze, roar, psyc up, etc.

those moves either a) protect you from status changes b) stops the other pokemon from gaining any from using curse/belly drum/agility/etc. c) help ur own stats so u do more damage d) annoy the opponent so they're more likely to make a mistake

take dunsparce for example. most ppl would say it sucks cuz it has cr*ppy stats. so it cant deal punishing blows. o well; its can still be a crucial part of a team. glare paralyzes, mud slap reduces accuracy, swagger confuses, and double team increases your evasion. if you care to find out the data, the opponent should only have a 20-30% chance of pulling off a move and a 10-20% chance of hitting you. go figure. then u can switch to a sweeper, an attacker, or a heavy hitter and completely screw over the opponent.
