i checked a few walkthroughs for the first mission and and it says in the beginging at the crime scene, it says to ask McLadden, "whos swept up the debris?" but that question never shows up and we can not find anything to link mcladden to the crime so we can not get a warrent to search his trailer, please help me find a way to get a warrant for mcladden

A little bit to the left of the motorbike is a barrel, hover the highlighted pointer over one of the barrel and click, you will see the dirt and catherine will pick up on it as well. Then ask the guy about it.
