on special days black cars appear in used car rooms and they sell for 8,500,000 credits.

the most expensive car is the Bently Speed 8 race car. Even though you can buy the car it costs around $5,650,000. sorry i just finished the nurburgring 24 hours race and i found out that the formula gran turismo (indy car) is the most expensive car in game. If you wnat to buy it from a friend then save up 6,440,000 credits

Nah u guys r wrong. on speical days in GT4, special 'Black Cars' appear in random showrooms 4 about 7 GT4 days. They r the most expensive cars, they cost 8,500,000 at the least.

if you wish to buy the most expensive car from the dealership (not won or traded, thanks), then there are a number of cars that fulfil this criteria:
Audi R8
Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car
Toyota GT-ONE Race Car
BMW V12 LMR Race Car
Pescarolo Courage C60/Peugeot Race Car
PlayStation Pescarolo Judd Race Car
All of the above are 4.5 million cr.

In my eyes, the best hp/cr car is the Gillet Vertigo, which offers about 670 kW (not sure in hp) for 1 million cr. Awesome value.

By the way, the least expensive car is the Daihatsu Midget II D-type, which can be bought for under 2k. It has 30hp (22kW), and it is awfully slow. Buy it, win the Midget II Race, then sell it and the prize car.

Sorry to point out, but the black cars do not cost 8,500,000 each. these are individual cars (4) which sum to a total of around 8,500,000. two of them cost about 2.9 million (toyota gt one and nissan r390 gt1) and the other two around 1.2 million (mazda 787b and nissan r92cp)
