Wing Cap Box on Super Mario 64 Nintendo 64 Message Board - Page 1

I have gone to a course where I need the red box that will give you the wing cap but the box is transparent. Did I miss something that activates this box? Please Help!

You have got to press the red button:

Once you have 10 stars, go to the main room stand on the sun and look up. You'll end up in a secret level. Push the big red button and all the red bricks will become solid.
