U CAN SHOW YOUR SON THE ANIMALS IN THE BARN,MILK THE COWS WITH YOUR HAND(TAKE YOUR SON TO THE BARN TO SHOW HIM)AND TAKE YOUR SON TO VESTA'S FRAM.

if you want Mark to be a farmer, all you have to do is be-friend no one. if you dont have any friends, he wont want to be like any one but you. in my games i never had any friends cuz i was too busy farming, and he always turned out becoming a farmer. so, hope this helps
