The only way u can use an aeon's overdrive twice is if u use Yuna's overdrive which is Grand Summon and u do that when the aeon u summon is already in overdrive. Then when u summon it,use overdrive and after it should still have another full overdrive gauge.

grey chicken is correct, train proplerly, and he should be a problem in your first battle. Note, me and my friend found that you can poison seymore in all the battles. This helps a lot in the the 3rd battle. Also, the only people I really train at all are Tidus, Auron, Yuna and Wakka. I've never really had to use the other players except for special events in fights.
Also, when Anima is summoned, use only summons, as Pain is a ***** to deal with (does high damage and about a 30-40% chance of instant death).
