John Deere: American Farmer Message Board  

I bought this game because I have a farm and it sounded like fun. Before I take it back I want to know how to play it. I can't figure out how to plant crops or anything so if anybody knows how please e-mail me and let me know at itbigesmalls@netscape.net

i know exactly what you mean. what you need to do is... vlivk on help topics to the far right and then on the topic " growing crops " they list everything there.

its easy to play just go to the help button on the top and mostly you just figure it out on your own.

Well ain't you guys even gonna tell her? I farm too, I had the same problem when I got it. You need to get a person in a tractor. The click on the disk or the chisel plow or mulch tiller or whatever they call it on there. Then when it's hooked on, click on a field and it will say till field on one of those squares at the bottom of the pop up deal. Then when that is done, unhook your your disk, then hook the planter on to it the same way then click on the field and just do the same thing. And of course if you want to plant beans or wheat you just do the same thing with the drill, but u don't have to till the field before hand.
