When i started the game instant research worked fine. Now, it doesn't appear to be working. Anyone else having an issue with this? Before I submit anything.

I used the instant research option just yesterday and it was working fine for me, including for when I had multiple techs (in sequence) queued, they were all instantly researched.
As the other person said above, it's possible it's a weird pre-requisite thing maybe? Sometimes if you have hall of fame tech unlocks, the game makes you think you have access to some techs that you're missing some other prereq to be able to research.

The one thing I do wish, is the max warehouse resource capacity could be increased, as you did in Anno 1800.
You can try to request it and see if passes on.

it does work, but there are end of the research tree options which i think are repeatable and take 30mins. those dont get done instant. but everything else in the tree does
When I use give resources on construction all production buildings suddenly get the "missing goods" error. Is this a bug?

I discovered the same when constructing the amphitheater. A warehouse was right next to the site, 2 in fact, and the workers were clearly taking goods to the building site, but building site read "missing resources" and stayed that way until I turned the "give resources on construction" option off. I also noticed the same when transferring timber to sawmill; workers were transporting timber to sawmill but sawmill showed no resources.
Once building was constructed I turn the option back on.
