Changing shells just seems to be a visual only change. Can't actually use them unfortunately.
Since the trainer doesn't have any update requests, that would tell us it works fine or no one is playing it. Please put in an update request for someone to look into it
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

They may have moved the shells to online server. Likely they must have added microtransactions.

I'd be kinda worried about using this since it's an online game. If I use Mega Capacity and fill a tank with 100 fish, what happens if someone tries visiting it?

Just be sure to mark the tank private. In the tank selection screen, click the gear at under each tank to show the privacy setting.
