Today I found that Aurora, after activating the trainer, is consuming over 2GB of RAM. I tested this with Doom Dark Ages and AC Shadows. In both cases, after launching Aurora and the trainer, RAM usage is around 300MB; after activation, it goes up to over 2GB. Even if I close the trainer, it still uses the same amount of memory.

Where is your Aurora folder located?
Have you disabled hardware acceleration in Aurora settings?

Currently, I have hardware acceleration disabled. After enabling it, the usage is lower but still above 1GB.
Aurora is located in my Documents folder, which is synchronized to OneDrive, but moving it to a different location doesn’t change anything.

And where did you move it to? We usually suggest putting it in its own folder kinda like "C:\Aurora" or "C:\Cheat Happens"

I moved it into D:/Aurora on non-system drive.

Higher ram usage is an expected behavior for a .NET app. Because as a developer you cannot really free memory in .NET you can only "mark" it to be freed. The .NET runtime decides when it frees the memory. Sometimes it just keeps the memory when it thinks that it will be needed very soon so it doesnt have to allocate it.

Also on trainer activation Aurora scans the game's memory to inject code. In Windows you cannot really see the game's memory instead you have to copy it and then scan the copy of it.

HOWEVER, 2 GB is way too much. On Soulmask which uses 7 GB after Aurora trainer activation Aurora uses ~550mb (before ~300mb). So my question would be: Does it only happens on a specific game? Can you test it on other games?

I just tested the DOOM trainer on my PC. Here are before and after activating Aurora:

    BEFORE (Aurora: 117MB, DOOM: 4.3GB):
    Link

AFTER (Aurora: 1.7GB (w/8 options activated), DOOM: 5GB):
    Link

...to me this seems about right for having to scan and inject into a 5GB process.
