the trainer doesn't have any update requests, that either means the trainer works fine or its not popular enough
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. IT IS NOT BUGGED, I just tested the trainer and it worked as intended, as well Free Craft.

I have also noticed this happening. BUT I have also had the trainer work fine. and some mixed bag things like energy and hp parts working but free craft not. I can either get free craft to work again after just playing the game for a while and trying again, or restarting. Before anyone quotes me on it. i have not sat down and tested out what i do to actually "fix" this. i just say whatever and just dont craft or take a break from the game at that point. only thing i would say i would like added (but have not submitted to get added) is ship hp/energy cheats. found out that it hp cheat does not work on ship after flying into a fight and just sitting there looking at the bad guy ships and wondering if there is a why to disable them and claim them.

Again ,I cannot replicate this and Free Craft worked as intended every time I used it so it's a random game bug firing.
For the ship hp you have to submit your option request and plus a save game.
Please use the trainer option request system for requesting new options be added to this trainer and/or vote on options already requested. -

As I have stated before, FREE CRAFT WORKS if the crafting bench is considered inside your base radius, if you are not at your base (I.E. an NPC Outpost / Space station etc, move your spaceship closer as it is also considered a 'base'.
You will then find the crafting stations are working fine. -

Are you activating in main menu?
Do you have Aurora excluded and placed on a disk and not documents, downloads or desktop?
Is Aurora running as admin?
