Well, that's not an officially supported configuration so not much we can do about it. Perhaps one of our Linux gurus can assist.

Just make sure you're starting from a clean slate.
Delete Aurora and the Aurora settings. The settings can be found in either: Steam -...SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/GAME_ID/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/ Or Lutris/Bottles/Heroic/Wine, Etc. - ...GAME_PREFIX/drive_c/users/USERNAME/AppData/Roaming/
Just delete the "Cheat Happens" directory.
-----------------------
Now, Re-download Aurora and run it in whatever way has worked for you before.
For me, it works fine with Steam's Proton builds (8, 9, Experimental), GE-Proton and Wine-tkg... basically anything you'd normally ever need. (Never used Cachy's proton myself as it's existence seems completely pointless.)
Side Note: On desktop Linux you don't actually need to mess with launchers to run Aurora. Just add a launch argument and it'll launch with the game. PROTON_REMOTE_DEBUG_CMD="/INSERT/PATH/TO/Aurora.exe" %command%
Make sure that you leave Hardware Acceleration enabled. Turning it off breaks Aurora and you need to either disable it again via the .json config or delete the settings and start over. If you enable auto log in, you may get a .NET error initially, but this can be ignored and it should work fine.
