Hey guys, I am wondering what is causing the crashes then. Could it be the latest Nvidia GRD? I don't use Trainer/Aurora Overlay when gaming. My laptop is on Nvidia GRD (Game-Ready Driver) 596.49. Am afraid to update Nvidia Driver if it causing game crashes...
That's very old driver. I suggest you update that.
Hello. I did previously update to GRD 610.47, but did a rollback since I was getting several Windows 11 Kernel-Power crashes, that I believe were related to the Nvidia Driver, as that was the driver posted in crash log (Windows Reliability Monitor>nvlddmkm.sys_Blackwell). Should I always be using the latest Nvidia Drivers, even GRDs? I primarily use my laptop for gaming. Thoughts and help appreciated 🙂
Then I suggest you make sure you do a clean install. Non clean install can cause issues.
Yes I suggest always being on latest updates, but I usually wait a week or so after it pops up in case they did something weird (experience from before)
As for crashes. Likely an overlay kicking in and that needs to be shut off. Discord, steam, aurora, nvidia etc. Any one of those can potentially cause issues
No idea why the graphic card driver is responsible for the game to crash when activating the trainer, but updating the NVIDIA drivers to the newest version did help.[quote2]

Same here.... game crashed over and over after starting the trainer - then I read a comment on the board to update video drivers and there.... magic :-)
