Just an FYI for anyone experiencing crashes at 93% or on game start, Get the game to start loading then turn off your internet. For some reason Ubisoft built in some weird anticheat detection and it unloads your graphics driver forcefully if it detects anything, while also leaving your computer in that state when you launch the game again. If you're offline from the internet when it performs its anticheat check, you should be okay to load the game all the way.
I have done this in addition to the following
"Hello there, I am sorry that you are unable to load Assassin's Creed Shadows past 93%.
Would you be able to test the following:
- Make sure the game is completely closed
- Disable Steam cloud saves - Guide
- Disable Ubisoft Connect cloud saves - Guide[www.ubisoft.com]
- Create a backup copy of your Shadows save games and then delete the ones from C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\
- Once everything is done, please launch the game, to verify if it works and if you are able to start a new game"
restarted the game offline I did the game from intro to the Sakai mission to ook for the one ear samurai
then log off
and now everytime I try to start the game it says unable to synch with Achievement!!!!
I wonder if it's not because of "unlimited use ration" just like mega loot did?
now Ubi is asking me
Sorry to hear it you still experience the game crashing.
The 93% memory loading crash is currently investigated by the game team, however, it can be a corrupt save issue.
Did you mean in your previous message that you loaded up a different save or started a new one and the game keeps crashing regardless?
If yes, are you using any modifications or 3rd party software to assist you in the game?
not sure if I should tell them yes lol

So you want to wait until the game finishes syncing achievements and then disable your Ethernet or WiFi (or both) adapters so that you are not connected to the internet. The game should start after another, less transaparent check/sync. The cheats aren't corrupting your save, it's Ubisoft's spaghetti code and intrusive anti-cheat system.
I want to point out that the megaloot trainer is not the culprit in corrupt saves. The same Yaya mission and Nobunaga mission are also bugged on consoles for numerous people. There are PS5 and Xbox users reporting the bug and many who do not even use cheathappens trainers or other programs at all. The Nobunaga progression lock is listed on upcoming fixes, but not sure if that includes the Yaya mission. Both crash at the exact same moment on consoles and PC and are repeatable the same way across platforms, ie crash when a cutscene is meant to start defending Yaya and after a cutscene in the other mission.
A tangential question: has anyone been able to progress the game missions past or around the Nobunaga crash? At least for me I see no option rather than to continue exploring the map and wait until the fix since I can't progress the basic story.
yes, its only a workaround in the moment but for me it works. you need to start a complet new save and progres straight to the assassination mission for nobunaga, when this mission is done you can make yaya mission with yasuke. do not do anything else, only mainquest until you kill nobunaga

It happened to me to. But I think it might be related to the fact that I used the "mega resources" right in the beginig of the game. I also sacked some castels before reaching the "nobunaga" missions.
So Unfortunatlly, I had to restart the all game from the begining but this time without th mega resouces and without doing any mission I am not suppose to. Doing that I successfult passed the "nobunaga" mission and also the yaya mission.
Is anyone getting stuck in "combat". Unable to change weapons with R, unable to swap items in inventory screen, unable to use tools, and stuck in the combat stance? Swap char, save, then restart game is the only fix i've found. only using unlimited items, Hp, oxygen, and stealth.
Yes. That is a vanilla bug, and to fix it, you may need to keep quitting the main menu and reloading your save until it unsticks itself. Swapping characters isn't the solution, as it's purely luck in how many times you need to restart the game to get around that bug.
So I has some time to look at this again. It happens every single time I enter combat. But, It seems to be tied to the Unlimited HP trainer option. If I disable that option, everything goes back to normal. I can then put the option back on and things are fine until I enter combat again and things get stuck again. Rinse and repeat.
Ah, what happened to mega loot?
btw: Mega Loot also worked on the purple ubisoft animus currency.
It gave +10 000 xp to the pass.
Is this the real reason it got removed? Damn, now we need it back!
