I did a very very stupid thing...I changed the XP to like 9999999 (I don't know why!) like 30 min ago then once the characters became level 60 I can't switch to Yasuke that the game crashes! I have been playing fo days now I really don't want to start over! any help? old autofiles? 😱
I had a similar issue that was caused by the megaloot cheat. Its probably a corrupted save file.
To fix:
-Disable internet (either disconnect from network or block ACShadows.exe or ACShadows_plus in windows firewall) This prevents the game from automatically loading a corrupted cloud save.
-Back up save files (Default for Steam: C:/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher/savegames/[user id]/1081, for Epic and Ubisoft connect, the final folder is 8006)
-Delete all save files from the save folder.
-Copy one of your manual saves (both the .save and save.upload files) from before you applied the cheat back into the save folder.
-Copy the ACShadows[Options].save and ACShadows[Options].save.upload files back into your save folder too.
-Start the game. You'll probably get an error message about being unable to connect, but you should still be able to continue and the game will still launch.
-Check that everything is working properly. If the game still crashes on launch or when trying to switch characters, you might need to try an earlier manual save file instead.
-Once its working, create a new manual save.
-Re-enable internet/remove firewall setting from first step.
In my case, only the most recent auto-save file that was created when I tried to switch to Yasuke was corrupted, so I was able to put all of my manual saves back without any problems. Good luck!
I want to point out that the megaloot trainer is not the culprit in corrupt saves. The same Yaya mission and Nobunaga mission are also bugged on consoles for numerous people. There are PS5 and Xbox users reporting the bug and many who do not even use cheathappens trainers or other programs at all. The Nobunaga progression lock is listed on upcoming fixes, but not sure if that includes the Yaya mission. Both crash at the exact same moment on consoles and PC and are repeatable the same way across platforms, ie crash when a cutscene is meant to start defending Yaya and after a cutscene in the other mission.
Regardless of the crash in the Yaya Mission and Nobunaga Oda Mission, cheating on resource amounts like Mega Loot causes a crash at 93% memory loading. We believe that this is probably due to an error during the integrity check of Ubisoft Cloud Saves.

A tangential question: has anyone been able to progress the game missions past or around the Nobunaga crash? At least for me I see no option rather than to continue exploring the map and wait until the fix since I can't progress the basic story.
