I should probably preface this with saying that all toggleable functions except Immortal Player function to work, things like unlimited use items, unlimited jumps and game-speed all still seem to work mind you, I'm pretty far into the game, long past the tutorial segment when you get gifted the Hunter's Tunic, Peasant footwear, Hunting Knife and Bow.
Once you complete the tutorial and get the Venison Meat from the hunting tutorial, you get put into a cutscene where your house is attacked in the middle of the night and you loose all your starting items, having to find new ones, maybe the game consider all damage past that a new type, or its based on your total amount of HP?

So far I am playing by just using the normal healing potions and when those run out, I heal with cooked venison, which heal 4 total hearts vs the 5 of the potions, it works.. but it would be nice not having to worry about healing at all, otherwise, a great trainer.

2nd edit; I managed to stop taking damage by freezing the "Current health" in the Edit window, so you hearts always refresh to the frozen value, so it kinda works.

If something in the trainer doesn't work I suggest you post your save game, and an update request.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

immortal player it's not working for me, i need help.
