That message usually comes because you failed to follow the instructions.
Make sure you follow instructions and also that you have excluded the folder with the bypass from any and all scans in your AC
Running as admin should also be done
So i re-checked, the steam issued out an error and would not open until it did a self update. I did follow it correctly, however, that error fully caused steam to upload the previous applications back in the common files. Is there a way to fix this as steam just keeps redownloading the original application names?
So I had the same problem. I fixed it though. So during the rename process do no add .exe to the name.
*do not add .exe
