Hi,
So I'm asking about old retired trainers, recently i was looking at a game which used to have a trainer, but support was stopped because the game was receiving multiple updates with the person maintaining it saying they'd come back to it when it stopped updating, truly understandable.
However, when the game stopped updating, like effectively no updates and announced last update in march of 2023, someone requested for an update after and the thread was immediately shut down by a mod as retired without any consideration for what was said prior.
How should this be addressed? Will it remain shut down regardless of what was previously said by the person maintaining it? I would just like to understand from like the CH point of view and moving on will this continue to be the case?
The game in question is Chronicon if anyone would like to take a look at what i'm talking about.
Firstly I would just to mention that us mods have no say in if a trainer is retired or not. That is solely up to the trainer makers of CH.
The game in question has then been retired by the trainer maker, without a new notice apart from the last message from the trainer maker. So regardless of prior message that it may get updates, if they move it to retired then that message is void
If a trainer is retired, then unfortunately it's more or less permanent retired from any new updates.
EDIT: Title was labeled wrong. See below post from trainer maker.
