If CLUB is online, then likely you cannot play using trainer. Are you seriously trying to go online and play against others with a trainer?

No, I'm not playing CLUB, but this is still on the game's start screen after I loaded my personal files. When heading to the initial 'press any key' screen, that's when I encountered that message.

Using the PC version of the trainer on the EA app. followed the instructions, doesn't work, when i start the game, It tells me that the game is already running, which it isn't.
Any chance on a EA app version ?...

Note all versions of the game will eventually run the "EA app" in the background to some degree.
move file over, replacing the origingal, run game from EA app. Activate Aurora after game window pops up.
I have no other instructions. Could be your antivirus is blocking the file that we gave you to replace the original file.

Are save games possible to share? are you playing offline?
You need to click on the headings and the menu windows until you can see your budget in the game, that's when the trainer is trying to read the value and it's address.
