I had tried rebooting, not opening anything other than the game and Aurora, and the issue still persisted. I am not sure what other process it tries to tie itself to. I have opened taskmanager and closed anything I could, to no avail. I can boot up the game just fine via Aurora itself, which I was hoping might help. But it still does not seem to know what process to inject itself into. To be honest, I was surprised an RPG-maker-made-game even has a trainer. Not too worried about it though. For now I am going to move on from this game, but thank you for the reply! -

I do suggest however you make a report so we can have a look.
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. Disable your anti virus while using the trainer and run as admin, this should help.
