Please follow the new steps in the readme

nook as of 15th october your old method and instructions not working anymore and the game will freeze or close automatically ,also other people have these exact same problems and you still insist on the old method and your run around the ships and then use the bypass and after three beeps ,....
but we tried many times and the old instructions or readme or mehod not working anymore,
please find a permanent fix and renew the bypass ,also the game has a problem with running aurora after bypass and three beeps

We have 3 people on our team who tests the trainer regularly and we all have no issue with the new steps.
If you having issues there is something interfeering with the trainer, launcher or Aurora on your end or you are missing a step, exclusion or admin rights.
There isn't much else we can do. We can't replicate the issues

To those that crash with the latest instructions, I found a work around that works every time for me, and doesn't crash often.

Here's how I did it. I have Aurora OPEN, with the HD2 trainer PREPARED and the helldivers bypass launcher in the bin folder ready to be run.

I launch from steam and wait for the gameguard screen to disappear, and as soon as the black screen appears that is HD2 just starting up. You run the bypass exe, wait for the beeps and then press F1 to activate right away, if it fails try again while on the black screen.

Bypass may be being blocked by your antimalware or antivirus program. Make an exclusion.

As stated by others, I can no longer get the trainer to work. The trainer has not work well since .102
Please, we have all paid good money for your trainer, and it worked perfect for a long time, but we shouldn't need to go though so many steps and still have it crash. And I even tried the firewall bypass.
With all due respect, please take us seriously when we say it is not working.

I followed the directions as usual, Normally can get any trainer running in no time, but this one... The game keeps detecting the trainer. When I use the launcher, it just won't join the servers and keeps having to retry endlessly. When I launch through steam and Then use the launcher, the game Instantly crashes the second I open aurora. I tried the quick launch method where I pull up everything and attach immediately, and get stuck in the joining server loop, always the same error that on their site says: "Our servers cannot communicate with gameguard, please reinstall". I have absolutely made sure my AV is off, turned off CPU core isolation, active script monitor service; everything including adding aurora, the bypass, and everything in every related folder is in the exceptions list.. If I connect before bypass, server won't connect. If I do anything after the game is open, the game detects the trainer. I used the latest bypass in the trainer options tab. I couldn't really tell if the readme was saying "We DON'T have a bypass right now" or just "Sometimes we don't have a working bypass, check often."

Quick edit to clarify my intended tone, I wholeheartedly blame the devs of the game for the backend edits they do every day. I'm perfectly fine playing Space Marine 2 while HD2 gets themselves together so a good trainer can be made for it by the awesome trainers here. I don't mind waiting a day or 2, I'll gladly just check back daily~ 💛
