I had the same problem after the recent update what fixed it for me was deleting the shader_cache folder , you can find it in %AppData% > Roaming > Arrowhead > Helldivers2
I was also having this problem but deleting shader_cache folder fixed the problem for me too.It Is A Good Day To Die -

I was also having this problem but deleting shader_cache folder fixed the problem for me too.
Just want to say as of 13/02 this has worked for me both clearing shader cache and deleting the shader folder -

I've changed the steps slightly, nothing. I have followed the steps EXACTLY, nothing. I've opened notepad first, I've gone straight to the trainer after hearing the 3 beeps. Literally get all the way to the 3beeps step and if I open anything the game crashes with error 1002. When the trainer does work it's great. The problem is sometimes I could spend hours trying to get the trainer to launch and it won't. And there's nothing new, nothing changed. It just works when it wants to; Like 10% of the time. Honestly this sucks and the fact that when people post in the forum responded to with attitude is unacceptable. This trainer, its inconsistency and the MODs responses to question are the sole reason I haven't bought into the tier system after buying lifetime like 5-6 years ago. I don't really feel the need or the incentive to further support. All in all I'd rather you just told me guess it's just not gonna work for you. And I would move on. but the fact that it works sporadically is both baffeling and upsetting. -

The trainer is working, and as long as it has been updated to most recent version, has been working fine. I have 100% of time managed to get it running and I also wrote exactly what I have done and this was also confirmed on a different windows version that working fine.
We have also said numerous times that 1002 error is something wrong on your end and we made several descriptions on how to get the trainer working.
We also said numerous of times to come on our discord to get aid, since helping via forum without seeing images is useless. We need to see min of 7 different screenshots to narrow the fault.
So my only suggest for you is to come on discord. That way our competent helpers can look at the images you share and see what might be at fault.
