When following the steps on the CH website, Steps 8,9,& 10 occur with the game being closed when nProtect is closed.
The game is started.
Get to the bridge.
Game set to windowed mode.
Run bypass without browsers and Auora open.
3 beeps occur.
Several seconds go by without anything happening.
nProtect closes taking the game with it.
what anti-virus software do you use?

what anti-virus software do you use?
Avast premium. However, I have in the past ensured and confirmed recently the Helldivers 2 and Aurora folders are excluded from scans to prevent interference.

I'm using windows defender and experiencing the same with exclusions entered.

Same result for me.
Also, the few times it does work, simply opening Aurora causes the game to instantly crash.
Now it's also giving a gameguard pipe error 1002 when it crashes.

So for me even tho i tripple checked every exclusions it doesn't work anymore.
I open the game run around wait a couple mins, everything fine
launch the launcher with admin perms in the bin folder, everything fine
I open aurora, game fking dies instantly, all the time
create a ticket on the discord and the team can help you
