Ha nevermind . Had to uninstall some things on my pc. Now its all smooth.

We don't advise step 3 .... enfact we advise step 3 to be revised as per my earlier steps when you read step 2 from my Step Guide that is also posted up on the discord FAQ: Link

JD's STEP BY STEP GUIDE!
Got an Error with Helldivers 2 Please follow these Steps to make sure your doing ALL you can get to around your error.

1 - Delete the ..\Bin folder from your HD2 Game Directory - Verify the Files in Steam after deleting.
2 - Check to make sure you have included the "Aurora" Folder into your "Security Exclusion List" with your "Security Software" (DO NOT DISABLE YOUR SECURITY) Example of this setting: image.png Link
3 - Launch the game and play it with out Aurora running in the background, Making sure to walk around the ship a little and exit the game via the Esc Menu.
4 - (Now you can Launch Aurora) - Launch Aurora in Admin Mode
(to do this please Right Mouse Click on the Icon and select run as Admin)
5 - Access the Trainer for HD2 - Download the RAR file containing the HD2Launcher.exe file
6 - Extract the File from the RAR file and inject it into the ..\BIN folder for HD2 Directory
7 - Make sure you have closed aurora and the trainer before attempting to Launch the CHLauncher file
8 - Run the "Helldivers2Launcher.exe" and proceed to Wait for the 3 Beeps as previously posted in this help guide to indicate successful Attachment to the game. (Expect a 60 second delay)
3 beeps ....
High pitch - Launcher Check
Mid Pitch - Aurora Check
then Low Pitch if it hooked the game correctly
9 - Activate the Trainer in game when your on the ship.

Activate Functions when your in the Mission.
Disable ALL active functions before boarding the Extraction shuttle.

10 - if Aurora has crashed during these steps or the game Crashes to desktop you have incorrectly skipped a step or failed to follow these steps. If your sure you followed these steps to the letter, reboot your computer and try 1 - 9 again.

Hey JD,

i followed your steps - it worked in a single mission, when i tried to finish the next one (once again - followed your steps completely) it always breaks the game and CTD when the drop pod is about to land, or shortly after you've landed on the ground and walked for like 20m.

i tried it now multiple times, 4 Re-Boots so far and it still happens. Next I'll try to activate the Trainer only when i'm already in a mission.

I play ALL MISSIONS BY MYSELF..
I have only had random crashes when there was like a zillion creatures attacking me at once and I was using grenades and firing weapons and things that cause a lot of gibs, fragments, explosions, and graphics particles intensive stuff. LIkely because the game can't handle all of that and I should have been dead before it got that bad.

I have not encountered "starts crashing over and over on 3rd mission in a row" or anything like that.

People should tell me MORE INFO. Maybe it's SPECIFIC MISSIONS TYPES that cause the issue?

What mission is it? Is it vs the bots or bugs? What's the mission objective?

If you try to play with PEOPLE, then YOU SUCK, and I hope it crashes on you every time

So, it was haz 3 on a sandy planet, but thats not the point - it broke the missions itself - when you have "collect all samples" on and pick up a medal, or bring more samples home than the ones you get by the cheat itself. I play on my own on "invite only".

So if you switch the mission later on - everything works fine, but somehow the mission will be bugged - once you crashed in there. So just select a different operation and start over. Not specific Mission types imo, vs bugs and it progressed just fine - no objectives broke it whatsoever.

I agree - if you would get the thought to try to play with PEOPLE, then YOU WOULD SUCK. But thats not the case here.

""Next I'll try to activate the Trainer only when i'm already in a mission. "" As you were able to see, i was still troubleshooting and trying to find out what it was. Had never a crash related to too much graphical content, like gibs, etc. so far.

I'd like to thank you all again for keeping this one alive. It really helps with the AH design philosophy of nerf first. I also understand all of your warnings that when it ends, it ends.

hello, it seems that this is not linked to the use of a specific trainer option. It's a question of time. whatever you do if you use the trainer after an hour, more or less the game will crash as soon as we interact with an object to pick up or if we get on the shuttle. it's as if after an hour the bypass was no longer effective and game guard took over the controls.

The game crashes when trying the new difficulty 10, no cheat options selected, just activated.
