This game is suffering from random crashes and has nothing to do with the trainer, try this tips to minimize that:
1.Enable the cheats once you're in the game then disable them before going back to the main menu.
2.Don't take too many round trips back to the main menu.
3.Don't pause and unpause the game rapidly.
4.Avoid using 'Set Inventory Items to 10' too much.

I press launch game from aurora or steam, then activate trainer upon launch, on main menu, on gameplay. still can't activate the trainer.

The trainer doesn't work :

Found multiple processes the trainer can attach to. The trainer activation could fail if the trainer attaches to the wrong game instance. In this case please, first see if the trainer readme contains special instructions about this. Otherwise close all game processes you find in the taskmanager and try again.

What does the trainer log say?
What are the steps to replicate this issue?
Does your game version match the trainer version?
Are you playing on steam deck or a windows machine?
Are there any special instructions that need to be followed?
If the Instructions say to place a launcher in the game files have you replaced the launcher file?
Are you running Aurora as admin? Not doing that can cause issues for a lot of trainers.
Did you extract Aurora as opposed to just running it?
Have you reinstalled/verified the game files?
Have you restarted your computer before trying the trainer again?
Have you set the anti-virus exclusions for Aurora?
Are you running the newest version of Aurora?
Have you followed the readme instructions?
Are you opening the game from a supported launcher? If so what Launcher/Platform?
Are you running the newest version of the trainer?
Are you playing a beta version of the game?
Are you using mods?
Could you provide a save file?

Are you able to get the error message/issue on a new save?
Are you running a preview/test version of windows?

Mea culpa, It worked, but I thought it wouldn't because of the error message.
